Guide to electronic, house, afro-house and techno nights in Madrid

Electronic music clubs in Madrid: Etnia, Bonded and Fitz by session

Looking for electronic music clubs in Madrid does not necessarily mean finding a venue that plays one style every night. Among the venues we work with, Etnia Madrid, Bonded Club and Fitz Madrid represent three different approaches: Etnia has a strong afro-house and electronic identity; Bonded has a separate techno room inside a mixed-format club; and Fitz books electronic artists and sessions while also switching to urban, Latin and commercial concepts.

This guide therefore does not label all three as permanent techno clubs. The useful question is which actual session matches the music you want. In Madrid, crowd and sound can change sharply between nights, and at venues driven by promoters or guest artists the date matters more than the venue's broad label.

Electronic music in Madrid: why the session matters

The term electronic music covers very different sounds and crowds. An afro-house night can feel completely different from techno, while an international house artist may appear at a club that plays reggaeton on another date. Choosing well means separating the venue's usual identity from the event running that night.

In this shortlist, Etnia is the most consistent reference for afro-house and electronic music. Bonded works differently: its official site describes two floors, including a more intimate techno room, while its main room and promoter-led parties can move through reggaeton, hits, commercial and afro-house. Fitz is even more event and artist driven.

That affects age and price as well. A venue may advertise 18+ on one night and use a higher age threshold on another. Tickets and VIP minimums can also change with guest artists, holiday eves and special events. A single event screenshot should never be treated as a permanent rule.

If electronic music is the priority, the best filter is not simply which venue mentions electronic in its description, but which date, promoter and artist are actually on the calendar.

Nightlife atmosphere at Etnia Madrid, a club associated with afro-house and electronic music

Etnia Madrid: the clearest afro-house and electronic identity

Etnia Madrid, on Calle de Orense 14, has the clearest public identity around afro-house in this selection. Its own Fourvenues page presents it as a reference point for afrohouse and electronic music in Madrid, and its calendar continues with regular 18+ sessions.

That does not mean every night is identical. Etnia also hosts student parties, commercial concepts and different promoters. Afro-house is a useful primary reference, but the exact session still matters.

For a group that wants to prioritise electronic music without necessarily going to a pure techno club, Etnia is usually the most natural starting point. Its format combines dancefloor, DJs and VIP areas, so both tickets and table bookings can make sense.

The central commercial catalogue currently keeps a ticket starting reference of €12 and VIP from €120, but these are starting points. Current listings use different releases and promotions, so check the date before paying.

Bonded Club: a techno room inside a mixed-format nightclub

Bonded Club, at Calle de Miguel Ángel 9, offers a different model. Its official site describes a two-floor nightclub with a more intimate techno room and a larger main room. Electronic music therefore has a dedicated space without making the entire venue permanently techno.

Events published through 2026 show exactly that mix. Some sessions include afro-house, others focus on reggaeton and hits, and age conditions have moved between 18+, 20+ and 23+ depending on the date. Its central commercial record should therefore treat age and tickets as session or event dependent.

Bonded makes sense for people who want a polished social club, a main dancefloor and the option to move into a techno room during the same night. That differs from Etnia, where electronic music sits more directly inside the overall venue identity.

Recent listings show Bonded tables from €250. That reference belongs in the central commercial catalogue, while ticket prices remain event-dependent because releases and promotions change regularly.

Dancefloor and visual production at Fitz Madrid during a club night

Fitz Madrid: electronic music when the artist and event lead

Fitz Madrid, at Calle de la Princesa 1, is not an electronic-only club. Its calendar moves between urban, Latin, commercial and electronic nights, including dates with recognised house and electronic artists. That makes it a strong option when the right artist or event lands on your date.

Its official history and programme include names such as GORDO and HUGEL alongside acts and concepts from other genres. At Fitz, calendar first and venue second is the correct way to decide. Saying that Fitz is always electronic would be just as inaccurate as saying it is always reggaeton.

The room also has a large-scale production format, with an immersive LED dome and multiple VIP areas. For a guest-artist event, that can feel more like a large club production than Bonded's smaller techno-room concept.

Its commercial catalogue already models age as session-dependent and tickets as event-dependent. That is exactly the behaviour this guide needs: the event on your date determines the recommendation.

Techno, house and afro-house: choosing the right plan

If your priority is afro-house, Etnia is the easiest venue to identify in this shortlist. If you want techno, Bonded has a dedicated room for it, even though the venue's main party may use other genres. If you want house or electronic music with a guest artist, Fitz can be especially strong when its calendar lines up.

Also decide how much you want the music to define the whole night. At Etnia, electronic music is more integrated into the club's identity. At Bonded, you can switch between spaces. At Fitz, an electronic character may come from one particular artist or event and disappear on the next date.

For groups with mixed tastes, that difference can be useful. One person may want electronic music while another prefers hits or urban sounds; a mixed programme or multiple rooms can make the group easier to satisfy. For fans of a very specific subgenre, however, line-up matters more.

We do not use 'electronic' here as an empty SEO label. The recommendation should change with the subgenre and the real session.

Tickets, age and VIP tables: event-dependent details

Electronic nights are often strongly shaped by the event, guest artist and promoter. A DJ booking can change ticket tiers, effective age policy, capacity and VIP pricing. That is why the commercial catalogue distinguishes between stable starting prices and event-dependent conditions.

Etnia keeps current starting references for tickets and VIP. At Bonded, tickets are event-dependent and age is session-dependent with 18 as the known minimum; recent tables start from €250. At Fitz, ticket conditions and age can also move by session.

Before booking, check the exact event name, admission deadline, age, dress code, included drinks and VIP zone. Two electronic events in the same venue can attract different audiences and use different commercial conditions.

Centralising these values prevents eight translations from needing edits every time a price moves. The guide explains how to choose; the commercial catalogue carries the current reference.

VIP and event spaces at Fitz Madrid prepared for special club sessions

How to choose an electronic club for your night

To recommend one of these venues we need five details: date, music style, ages, group size and budget. Be as specific as possible about music: techno, afro-house, vocal house or simply a commercial night with electronic elements are not the same request.

If you say 'we want afro-house', I would start with Etnia and check the event. If you want techno but the group also likes a social club with other sounds, Bonded can make sense because of its second room. If you want to see a particular electronic artist or prefer a large-production event, check Fitz first.

Then choose the format: ticket or table. A VIP table can help large groups, birthdays or anyone wanting a fixed base, but it does not automatically improve the musical experience. If dancing near the booth is the priority, standard tickets may fit better.

Finally, recheck the actual session when booking. At clubs with changing programming, a recommendation based only on the venue name can be misleading. Etnia, Bonded and Fitz are useful together because they represent three genuinely different ways to go out for electronic music in Madrid.

Send us the date, ages, group size and preferred sound and the recommendation can be based on the session that actually matches your plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which electronic music clubs do you work with in Madrid?

This guide compares Etnia Madrid, Bonded Club and Fitz Madrid. All three can offer electronic music, but in different ways: Etnia is strongly linked to afro-house, Bonded has a techno room and Fitz depends heavily on the artist or event.

Is Fitz an electronic club?

Not exclusively. Fitz alternates styles and events. It can be a very strong electronic option when it books the right artist or session, but the calendar must be checked.

Which is best for afro-house?

Etnia is the venue most directly associated with afro-house in this selection. You should still check the actual event because its calendar also includes other concepts.

Is the minimum age always 18?

No. Etnia currently has a clear 18+ profile, while Bonded and Fitz can use different age thresholds depending on the session or event.

Where can I hear techno?

Bonded Club has a separate techno room inside the venue. Its main room and overall programme can use other genres, so it should not be treated as an exclusively techno club.

Can I book VIP tables at these clubs?

Yes. Etnia, Bonded and Fitz offer VIP or reserved areas. Price, capacity, location and conditions depend on the venue and session.
