Sixtyone's interior was created by Archidom Studio. The design brings together brutalist references, warmer theatrical details, low lighting and a deliberately understated entrance. Even the dark, almost anonymous façade plays into the sense of privacy and discovery.

Art is not treated as background decoration. It forms part of the identity alongside music, lighting and service. For that reason, 61 is better understood as an experiential restaurant or dinner-party venue than as a traditional restaurant built around a quiet after-dinner conversation.

61 works particularly well for anyone who wants dinner and nightlife in the same place. Early in the evening the focus is on the table, food and cocktails. As the night moves on, the lighting becomes darker, the music grows louder and the restaurant starts to feel much closer to a club.

It is not a conventional nightclub from the moment you walk in, and that transition is a key part of the appeal.
